After tying the game in the top of the ninth, a miscue in the bottom allowed Hays to score on a walk-off error, and the Bee Jays dropped the game, 6-5.
Liberal took an early 4-0 lead, but two home runs by Derek Birginske for the Larks erased the deficit and gave Hays a 5-4 lead.
The Bee Jays tied the game in the top of the ninth when Zach Hoffman hit an RBI single to center that scored Brady Cox.
The Bee Jays only needed one out to force extra innings, but a throw form third to first sailed over the Bee Jay first baseman’s head, and the winning run scored from second.
The Bee Jays will face Hays again at 7 p.m. tonight in the final game of the season between the two teams. The Bee Jays have a 4-3 lead in the series.
