Delvin Paul Luck, 78, died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Southwest Medical Center.
He was born Aug 16, 1931, to Robert and Lila (Smith) Luck in Bogue.
He married Velma Mason June 26, 1976, in Las Vegas. She survives.
He graduated in 1948 from Hill City High School.
He owned and operated Luck Dirt Construction before his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953.
He was a member of the Liberal Elks Lodge No. 1947 and a lifetime member of the VFW Land Day Post No. 3166.
Other survivors include four daughters, Rita Beecher and husband, Reid, Broken Arrow, Okla., Julie Blakeslee and husband, Kent, Ellinwood, Diana Mason, Salina, and Julie Mason, Scott City; five grandchildren, Brett Beecher, Annie Hood, Kyle Blakeslee, Eric Blakeslee and Scott Schowengerdt; and three great-grandchildren.
o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Prater presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
