Obituary

 

ULYSSES – Jeanette K. Webber, 69, died Sunday, July 13, 2014, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

She was born on Sept. 8, 1944, to Nick and Mildred (Lewis) Lorlovick in Wichita.

She married Michael Webber. He preceded her in death.

She grew up in Johnson and graduated from Stanton County High School.

She was a caretaker for the elderly.

She enjoyed reading, listening to music and was an accomplished cook.

She is survived by her brothers, Donald Lorlovick and wife, Priscilla, Albuquerque, N.M., Lynn Scott and wife, Debi, Johnson, and Larry Scott and wife, Jo, Johnson; sister, Marla Floyd and husband, Gary, Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her father; mother and step-father, Mildred and Merle Scott; and brother, James Scott.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, at the Ulysses Cemetery, with the Reverend Kelly Gindlesberger presiding.

Memorials are suggested to the Historic Adobe Museum or the Grant County Library, in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Avenue, Ulysses, KS 67880.
