Jayhawk League was brutal in 2014 PDF Print E-mail

I’m not one for saying I told you so, but ...

I told you before one Jayhawk League game was ever played that this was going to be a tough league this year.

In the first few days of the summer, every Jayhawk League team had swept their out-of-conference opponents.

By the end of the year, the Jayhawk League ended with a 31-3 record outside the conference.

Liberal and Dodge City beat up on the Albuquerque Diablos. Dodge City went  2-0 against the Diablos while the Bee Jays had a 6-0 record against them. And the Diablos are in the NBC World Series while Dodge City and Liberal are not.

Now look in the league. Only two teams with a winning league record and four with losing records.

That just goes to show you how tough the Jayhawk League was this year.

I don’t know what caused the late-season meltdown, losing 10 of the final 13 games of the season.

Was the talent there?

But for some reason, this team was prone to fielding errors. I didn’t see the final tally last night, but in three games against Wellington and the last home game against Dodge City, the Bee Jays committed 13 errors in four games.

You can’t win when you give away outs, especially in this league.

Here is what I do know: Liberal will be back and be strong next year.

The members of the Bee Jay Board and other supporters in the community have backed this team for 60 years, and not every season is a national championship year.

Whatever broke down this year will be fixed by the spring of 2015, and I would suggest one goal — win the Jayhawk League. If Liberal can win this league, they are definitely one of the best teams in the country and a favorite to win the NBC. I can assure you of this, it won’t be any easier next year. Wellington, Hays, Derby, El Dorado and Liberal all have great claims to the national tournament. They will not all be going next year, either.

Today I will speak to you in the form in which it was indispensable to go into has already been given viagra for sale is a personal option of each person buy viagra must see every human being without assistance.
