Church For All Nations will have two well-known speakers coming to its Northeast campus in Colorado Springs, and in addition to that and two other Colorado church campuses, locals will be able to see the speakers either in person at the Northeast campus or at CFAN’s Liberal campus.
This Sunday, Dr. Ben Carson will be speaking during CFAN’s first service at 10 a.m. local time or 9 a.m. Mountain time. Carson will likewise speak at the second service, and both can be seen during a live broadcast at the Liberal campus at 623 N. Grant.
Carson is an American columnist and retired neurosurgeon. He is credited with being the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins joined at the head.
In 2008, Carson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President George W. Bush. After delivering a widely publicized speech at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast, he became a popular conservative figure in political media for his views on social issues and the federal government.
Carson is also considered a potential candidate for the 2016 presidential election.
Women in the area can also see another speaker in Colorado Springs. As part of A Woman’s Life Ministry, Joyce Meyer will be at the World Arena in Colorado Springs Sept. 4-6.
