MONTEZUMA – Carolie Feil Voth, 73, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, in Brentwood, Mo.
She was born Feb. 9, 1937, to William Frentz Feil and Alice (McCrea) Feil, in Plainfield, N.J.
She married Frank Voth Aug. 14, 1971.
She graduated from Plainfield High School, attended Endicott Jr. College, and graduated from the University of Michigan.
She worked as an executive secretary for McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, Calif.
She loved people and expressed much joy in God’s creation.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Frentz Feil; one sister, Jacqueline F. Shaw and brother-in-law, Donald P. Shaw; dear aunt to Kimberley S. (David) Sears, Jr. and Jennifer S. (Daniel) Cross; great-aunt to Andrew Cross, Sarah, Lauren and Emily Sears.
o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gospel Fellowship Church in Montezuma, with Pastor Errol D. Koehn presiding.
Burial will follow at Morningside Cemetery in Montezuma.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Brentwood, followed by a funeral at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Brentwood.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Montezuma Funeral Home.
