The Turpin boys track team finished tied for second out of twenty-two teams at the Okeene Relays in Okeene, Oklahoma, Saturday.

Most of their 65 points came in the relays, winning the 4 x 100 with a time of 44.72, and the 4 x400 in 3:34.77.

Brenton Kirkhart finished second in the 200 with a time of 22.85, and third in the 100 with a time of 11.60. James Dorman scored points in both hurdle events finishing second in the 110 (16.69) and sixth in the 300 (43.60). Also for Turpin, Cody Levens finished sixth in the 400 with a time of 53.15.

On the girls side, Kaci Hall of Forgan won the high jump with a jump of 5' 2". Lindsey Trippet finished fifth in the long jump with a leap of 14' 1 1/2". Shelby Hansen of Turpin took fourth in the 400 with a time of 1:05.52.
