Many arguments which attempt to prove or disprove the existence of God have been proposed by philosophers, theologians and other thinkers for centuries.
This Friday, one skeptic and a professor of philosophy and director of the PhD program at the Southern Evangelical Seminary in Matthews, N.C., will continue the debate with the topic, “Does God Exist?” through a live video stream from Church For All Nations’ Colorado Springs Northeast Campus to its Liberal campus at 623 N. Grant.
CFAN will host the event in conjunction with the Southern Evangelical Seminary, and following the debate between Dr. Michael Shermer, founding publisher of Skeptic Magazine and the executive director of the Skeptics Society, and Dr. Richard G. Howe, professor of philosophy and apologectics at the seminary, as well as the director of its PhD program, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. Dr. Alex McFaland, president of the seminary will moderate the depate.
