Two Sublette teens were seriously injured Thursday when their pickup rolled in Haskell County.
According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, 14-year-old Maria Moreno was driving a 2000 Ford F150 pickup northbound on Haskell County Road V-V when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch and overturned coming to rest on the pickup’s top. Moreno and her passenger, Cheryl Cepeda, 15, were both ejected from the truck, according to the report.
The girls were taken to Satanta District Hospital and then both life flighted to a hospital in Wichita.
