HUGOTON – Reginald Dean “Reggie” Shank, 59, died Tuesday, May 18, 2011, at his home.
He was born July 11, 1950, to Henry and Julia (Beavers) Shank in Liberal.
He served his country in the United States Navy.
He was an iron worker in construction.
He was a member of Paralyzed Veterans and past member of VFW and Kiwanis.
Survivors include his mother; one son, Kenneth Shank and wife, Julie, Hugoton; three brothers, Randy Shank, Colorado Springs, Lamont Shank and wife, Cindi, Sedalia, Mo., and Stacy Shank and wife, Velvet, Zebulon, N.C.; four sisters, Glenda Shank, Hugoton, LeNelda George and husband, DeLarry, Liberal, Jenita Hisle, Lake Charles, La., and Daira Brower and husband, Rex, Hugoton; three grandchildren, Sadie Woods, Shayla Shank and Aidan Shank; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Gertrude Leaming; and one aunt, Ruth Poster.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of God in Hugoton with Pastor Pam Peachey presiding.
Military graveside services will be a the Hugoton Cemetery with Navy Honor Guard presiding.
Friends may call 10 a.m until 8 p.m. Thursday at Paul’s Funeral Home.
