Obituary

Richard L. Hunt, 64, died Monday, May 17, 2010, at his home.

He was born Nov. 29, 1945, to Neil and Christina Beomer Hunt in Devils Lake, N.D.

He married Judy Ann Kelland  Dec. 27, 1968, in Devils Lake.

He graduated from high school, received his degree in business administration and a certificate in hospital administration from             Concordia College, Morehead, Minn.

He worked for the Good Samaritan Society in Greeley, Colo., from 1972-75, in Silverton, Idaho, from 1975-76, in Bottineau, N.D., from 1983-91, and in Liberal from 1991-94 as administrator. He was self-employed in the constuction business for several years. He was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army, honorabley discharged.

He enjoyed playing golf and chess with his friends.

He is survived by two sons, Eric Hunt and wife, Annie, Clay Center, and Thomas Hunt, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Pinky Hunt and  Kenneth Hunt, both of North Dakota; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

o There will be no memorial services, as were his wishes, the body was cremated.
