At about 9:30 Friday morning, officers were dispatched to Clay Avenue and Pancake Boulevard for what was reported to be a non-injury accident involving three vehicles. Liberal Police Capt. Patrick McClurg gave a brief description of the accident. “There was a 2008 Freightliner driven by a 45-year-old female going eastbound that struck a 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by a 24-year-old female that was waiting to turn left,” he said. “When that vehicle was hit, it spun around and struck a 2000 Buick LaSabre that was travelling west by a 62-year-old female. After officers got there, the driver of the Mitsubishi started complaining of some dizziness, so EMS transported her to the hospital.” Daily Leader photo/Jessica Crawford
