Armando Pineda-Sigala II, 60, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born May 14, 1950, to Armando and Evarista (Sigala) Pineda-Mora in Acambaro, Gto, Mexico.

He married Ma del Carmen Martinez March 4, 1972, in Acambaro, Gto. Mexico. She survives.

He received his GED in 1999 at the SCCC Colvin Center. He was the safety coordinator with Key Energy Service in Liberal.

He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a member of Kingdom Hall in Liberal.

Other survivors include four sons, Armando Pineda III and wife, Yvonne, Springtown, Texas, Alejandro Valerio Pineda and April Salley, Wichita, Andres Pineda, Wichita, and Jaime Ivan Pineda, Wichita; one daughter, Melissa Martinez and husband, Damian, Wichita; five brothers, Refugio Gonzalez of Mexico, Joel Pineda, Liberal, Carlos Pineda, Shafter, Calif., Javier Pineda, Shafter, and Jose Andres Pineda, Shafter; four sisters, Guadalupe Segovia, Liberal, Blanca Estela Sierra, Windsor, Calif., Maricela Trujillo, Bakersfield, Calif., and Leticia Espinoza, Bakersfield; amd 10 grandchildren, Armando IV, Meleah and Carmela Pineada, Alejandro, Madison and Taygan Pineda Marcos Pineda, Vanessa Carmona, Aliza Pineda and Xavier.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

o Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall with Robert Forks presiding.

Friends may call from 1 – 8 p.m. Friday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Armando Pineda Memorial Fund in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second, Liberal, KS  67901.
