HUGOTON – Goldie Fern Williams, 85, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.
She was born June 16, 1924, to Howard Lowery and Lenora Amon (Hodges) Willis in Hugoton.
She married Noble Keith “Doc” Williams Oct. 12, 1951, in Clayton, N.M. He preceded her in death May 28, 1998.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Hugoton.
She was a member of V.F.W. Women Auxiliary of Hugoton.
She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was survived by three sons, Albert Linley “Buddy” Clark, Jr. and wife, Juanita, Rolla, Lloyd Thomas “Tom” Clark, Hugoton and Robert Wayne Williams, Olathe; one daughter, Virginia Lea Marquis, Hugoton; one sister, Annis Belle Stremel, Liberal; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Warren, Jack, Tommy and Dois; and two sisters, June McClure and Betty Willis.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Hugoton with David Madsen presiding.
Burial will follow at Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
