Obituary

JOHNSON – Ann Margaret Copper, 74, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, in her home.

She was born Oct. 30, 1935, to Ellen Scott in England.

She married Ron Cooper, 1963, in Raton, N.M. He survives.

She worked in a shoe factory in England and later as a Nurses Aide at Holly Nursing in Hartman, Colo.

She enjoyed playing bingo at the Stanton County Senior Center, knitting and square dancing.

She is also survived by one son, Mark Cooper, Pueblo, Colo.; two daughters, Hazel Wheeler, Guthrie, Okla. and Sheila Cooper, Johnson; four sisters, Gwen Dunkley, Northhampton, England, Chris Morley, Northhampton, Valerie Easteal, Northhampton and Zena Scott, Northhampton; one brother, John Scott, Northhampton; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother; one daughter, Robin Cooper; and one brother, Barry Scott.

o Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Johnson with the Rev. Don Hasty presiding.
