Special training: Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Driver/Operator, rope rescue, HAZMAT, numerous KU fire classes and Kansas State Firefighters Association classes
Hobbies: Fishing, hunting and drag racing
Why firefighting? “I started when I was 15 by joining the Police Cadets and decided that was interesting, but really wasn’t what I wanted. After that, I had some friends involved with the Wichita Fire Explorers program. I went up and signed up through that and basically decided I liked it and have been doing it ever since.”
