HUGOTON – Pauline Arellano, 94, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home of Hugoton.
She was born July 16, 1915, to Demetrio and Andreita (Martinez) Leal in Pasamonte, N.M.
She married Moises Arellano March 23, 1946, in Clayton, N.M. He died Sept. 13, 2000.
She was a cook for many years.
She was a member of First Church of God of Hugoton.
Survivors include three sons, Ret. Sgt. Major Alfred Arellano and wife, Fayetteville, N.C., Moses Arellano Jr. and wife, Gloria, Wichita, and Phil Arellano, Santa Fe, N.M.; five daughters, Lita Talbert and husband, Ray, Hugoton, Ruby Watkins and husband, Vic, Hugoton, Mary P. Romero and husband, Tommy, Hugoton, Shirley Hale, Hugoton, and Donice Medina and husband, Mike Hugoton; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carlos and Gilbert Leal; three sisters, Juanita Martinez, Marcelina Cruz, Lillie Romero; one grandson, Mark Romero; and one granddaughter, Aidreah Medina.
o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Church of God in Hugoton with Pastor Lanning Bollacker presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Paul’s Funeral Home.
