ULYSSES – Galyn Nichols, 54, died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.
He was born July 9, 1955, to Duane and Arlene (Kilgore) Nichols in Johnson.
He graduated from Stanton County High School in 1973.
He married Tricia Pattno Sept. 23, 1989, in Cheyenne, Wyo. She survives.
He worked for Kugler Company for 34 years. He started as plant manager and retired as salesman.
He was a member of Northfork Tailgunners, Pheasants Forever, Colorado Agriculture Aviation Association, Rocky Mountain Agribusiness Association and Kansas Agribusiness Retailers Association.
He enjoyed hunting, collecting hot rods and attending and participating in car shows.
He is also survived by his mother, Arlene, Johnson; one brother, Jerald Nichols, Manter; one sister-in-law, Norma Nichols, Holcomb; many nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father; one brother, Duane Nichols; one nephew, Kyler Knoll; and one niece, Taryan Knoll.
o Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson with Pastor Will Kenyon presiding.
