TOPEKA (AP) — Today is the deadline in Kansas to register to vote in the Aug. 3 party primaries.
Kansans can register online (www.kssos.org), but they must have a valid driver’s license or identification card issued by the state Division of Motor Vehicles.
Registration forms can also be downloaded from the secretary of state’s Web site and turned in at county election offices, where forms are also available.
The secretary of state’s office says 1.7 million Kansans already are registered to vote in next month’s primaries.
