AMARILLO, Texas – Edwin Dale Searcy, 50, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Amarillo, Texas.

He was born Sept. 14, 1959, to Mary Ellen and Omer Spenser Searcy in Beaver, Okla.

He married Cathy Kay (Love) Searcy March 3, 1990 in Beaver. She survives.

He was a truck driver at Nichols Water Service in Forgan, Okla.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forgan.

Other survivors include one son, Joshua Dale Searcy, Dodge City; one daughter, Amanda and Michael Mausolf, Forgan; three brothers, Owen and Carolina Searcy, Amarillo, and Leand and Jewell Searcy, Mooreland, Okla., and James Searcy, Oklahoma City; five grandsons; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Christian Love Gebhardt.

o Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Forgan with Dennis Woods and Paul Dickson presiding.

Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the High Point Cemetery in Buffalo, Okla.
