Eighteen-year-old Turpin, Okla., racer Taylor Velasquez, No 21, throws up plenty of dirt in Turn No. 3 Monday evening in one of his heat races at Seward County Raceway during the three-day Five State Fair stock car races. Velasquez went on to win the feature race in the 305 Sprint Car Division and was second in overall points going into Tuesday night’s finale for the fair championship. Velasquez got passed on the last lap in Tuesday night’s feature race, but his second-place finish made him the overall points leader for three days and allowed him to capture his first Five State Fair Championship.
