Obituary

PLAINS – T. John Lennon, 53, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Meade District Hospital.

He was born July 22, 1957, to John Thomas and Mary Kathryn (Benear) Lennon in Port Isabel, Texas.

As a young boy, he attended the Meade and Plains school systems.

He was a self-employed automotive mechanic.

He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, caring for animals and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by one daughter,                                          Ashley Payne, Spiro, Okla.; one brother, Dan Wann, Plains; three sisters, Kathryn Lennon, Plains,  Kay Mora, Winfield, and Ida Pearl Bottorff, Medora, Ind.; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Danny Ray James; and a special friend and companion, Peggy “Candy” Constello.

o Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Rich O’Toole presiding.

Private family burial will take place at a later date.
