HUGOTON – Luella M. Schnurr, 76, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Bethel Home Inc. in Montezuma.
She was born May 27, 1934, to Clyde and Vivian (James) Carver in Eureka.
She married Billy Dean Schnurr May 2, 1952, in Ellinwood. He survives.
She worked as a secretary for Farm Bureau in Sublette.
She was a member of several quilting organizations and Eastern Star.
She enjoyed cooking, painting, quilting and collecting antiques.
Other survivors include two sons, Troy Schnurr and wife, Pamela, Grand Junction, Colo., and Todd Schnurr, Elkhart; three daughters, Terry Kehr, Colorado Springs, Colo., Tammy French and husband, Russell, Amarillo, Texas, and Gwen Kerth and husband, Robbin, Ottawa, Kan.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Carver, and one sister, Virginia Grubb.
o Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Paul’s Funeral Home Chapel in Hugoton.
Friends may sign the register from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
