BRIDGEPORT, Texas – James R. Campbell Jr., 58, died  Friday, July 30, 2010, at his home.

He was born Dec. 13, 1951, to Kathleen (Inman) and James R. Campbell in Linton, Ind.

He was a master engineer in the petroleum industry employed by Haliburton.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Campbell; two daughters, Christina Hankins and husband, Jake, and Kacy Campbell and fiance, Larry Patti; three sisters, Mary Jo Egan, and husband, Dan, Marsha Mahan and husband, Gene, and Jennifer Duclos and husband, Leo; two grandchildren, Klaire Hankins and Jaxon Hankins;  and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

o Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.

Burial was at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to either the Diabetes Foundation or to a local dialysis center.
