BEAVER, Okla. – Billy Eugene Rose, 78, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010.

He was born June 17, 1932, to William Richard and Ida Jane (Legan) Rose in Beaver County, Okla.

He married Marie Drueen Slater March 12, 1951, in Beaver, Okla. She survives.

He served in the U.S. military. He was a farmer and rancher.

He was a member of the First Christian Church.

He is also survived by two sons, Linvill Rose, Friona, Texas, and Lloyd Rose, Beaver; three daughters, Daisy Venable, Beaver, Loretta Rose, Jones, Okla., and Sylvia Beckham, Fayettesville, N.C.; two sisters, Bea Ragan, Beaver, and Dolly Shook, Liberal; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.

o Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Beaver First Christian Church with Wayne Moore, Rick Main and Read Barby presiding.
