TURPIN Okla. – Sara Ediger, 94, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.
She was born July 7, 1916, to Klaas and Anna (Wiens) Dick in Beaver County, Okla.
She married Paul Ediger July 23, 1939, in Turpin, Okla. He died April 10, 1999.
She graduated in 1934 from Greenough High School in Beaver County.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Turpin Mennonite Church.
She was a volunteer at the Et Cetra Shop and Ladies Mission Society.
She enjoyed traveling, music and her family.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Ediger and wife, Leanna, Turpin, Okla., and Max Ediger, Hanoi, Vietnam; three grandchildren, Kevin Ediger and wife, Karan, Kelly Carlile and husband, Todd, and Korey Ediger; five great-grandchildren, Logan Ediger, Courtney Carlile, Kennedy Porter, Kristen Ediger and Jordan Carlile.
She was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.
o Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Turpin Mennonite Church.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Turpin Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, Liberal, with the family present to receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Viewing will also be from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the burial.
