BEAVER, Okla. – Jose Ramon Balderrama, 43, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
He was born Oct. 6, 1966, to Ruben and Rosario (Lozoya-Fierro) Balderrama in Mexico.
He married Jaqueline de Santiago Oct. 27, 2006. She survives.
He was working as operations manager for National Beef Packing Co., Liberal, and had worked at Tyson Fresh Meats for more than 17 years in Garden City and Amarillo.
He was of the Catholic faith and was a fan of the Chivas Soccer Team.
Other survivors include one son, Ruben Balderrama and wife, Mayra, Garden City; four daughters, Jennifer, Aylin, Stephanie and Isabella Balderrama, all of Beaver, Okla.; three brothers, Ruben Balderrama, Garden City, Antonio Balderrama, Lamar, Colo., and Victor Balderrama, Beaver; three sisters, Rosalia Balderrama-Lozoya, Martha Balderrama-Lozoya and Maria Magdalena Balderrama-Lozoya, all of Mexico; and one grandson, Isaiah Balderama.
o Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Liberal.
Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City.
Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
