HUGOTON – Doris Lea Mantzke, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Satanta Long Term Care Unit.
She was born Aug. 10, 1930, to Orville Edward and Pearl (Younggren) Rich in Stevens County.
She married Verl Dean Mantzke Aug. 17, 1949, in Clayton, N.M. He died Jan. 8, 2000.
She was a bookkeeper, a bus driver for 35 years and worked for Panhandle Eastern and the city office of Hugoton.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Hugoton.
Survivors include one son, Michael Mantzke and wife, Toni, Hutchinson; one daughter, RoGlenda Coulter and husband, Rex, Hugoton; two sisters, Ferne Traver, Hugoton, and Verna Brown, Skiatook, Okla.; six grandchildren, Stacie Robertson, Travis Coulter, Lance Mantzke, Tyler Mantzke, Nikki Martinez and Kayla Mantzke; three great-grandchildren, Faith Mantzke, Colter Robertson and Rylea Martinez; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Rickey Verl Mantzke, one brother, Claude Rich, one sister, Darline Clinesmith, and one grandson, Justin Mantzke.
o Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church in Hugoton with Pastor Ben Coats presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
