SUBLETTE – Ruth Elaine Wright, 74, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 31, 1936, to Wayne and Esther (Fankhauser) Stanfield in Alton.
She married O. Eugene Wright in a double wedding with her identical twin sister, Carol, and Don Hess July 15, 1955, in Haviland. He survives.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Sublette, and she was active in the music department, playing the organ for more than 40 years.
She was a member of New Hope on the Plains.
Other survivors include one daughter, Jan Evans and husband, Jerry, Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Ted Stansfield and wife, LouDelle, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Carol Hess and husband, Don, Gig Harbor, Wash., and Lou Anne Kellum and husband, Kenneth, Weiser, Idaho; three grandchildren, Whitney, Chloe and Reagan Evans; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Douglas Eugene Wright; and one daughter, Tonya Elaine Wright.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Nazarene in Sublette with Dr. Bill Thomas presiding.
Burial will be at Haskell County Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Haskell County Funeral Home.
