BEAVER, Okla. – Dorothy Jean Gaona, 92, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

She was born March 3, 1924 to Laurence Joseph and Trilby (Mitchell) Bussey in Muskogee, Oklahoma. 

She married Turl Gray Aug. 19, 1942 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death May 6, 2005.

She married Nick Gaona Feb. 14, 2006 in Beaver, Oklahoma. He survives.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors also include son, Randall Gray, Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Nadine Knight, Jacksonville, Florida;  two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at the Beaver First Baptist Church in Beaver, Oklahoma with Jeff Bradley presiding.

Burial will take place at the Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Oklahoma.
