ULYSSES – J. Mark Lott, 55, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.
He was born June 11, 1955, to James L. and Eudine (Gable) Lott in Hall County, Texas.
He was a 1973 graduate of Levelland (Texas) High School. He attended South Plains College and Texas Tech.
He worked at Columbian Chemicals for 28 years.
He was a member of the Bethel Friends Church of Hugoton.
He enjoyed hunting, knife collecting, fishing, and sports.
Survivors include his mother; one son, Matthew Lott, Rolla; two daughters, Emily Johnson and husband, Matt, Hugoton, and Maggie Lott, Ulysses; one brother, David Lott, Garden City; two sisters, Judi McAnally, Bakersfield, Calif., and Jane Leitheiser, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four grandchildren, Weston and Wyatt Johnson and Emmi and Liam Lott.
He was preceded in death by his father.
o Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses with the Rev. Kelly Gindlesberger and Pastor Eric Mason presiding.
