LETTER TO THE EDITOR, Bill Harrison

I have lived in this town 25-plus years. I am a disabled veteran and a very concerned citizen. I have on many many days seen several school zone speeding violations upon numerous other traffic violations yet I never see a patrol car around.

When I do see patrol cars they speed, run lights, and fail to signal all without running emergency lights. On one occasion I saw one officer poking his superior in his backside with his baton in a convenient store in public.

I have made calls to top brass and city commissioners and nothing has changed and the problem still exists.

I will put it this way I could confidently speed through any active school zone and not worry about getting stopped!
