Feliciana “Eva” Gonzales Romero, 89, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010.
She was born June 9, 1921, to Jose and Rosita Montoya Mondragon in Bueyeros, N.M.
She married Aurelio Gonzales Oct. 8, 1936, in Clayton, N.M.
She then married Macelino S. Romero in May 1949 in Clayton.
She was a housekeeper for many years.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Liberal.
She enjoyed traveling, sewing, dancing, listening to music and being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by four sons, George Gonzales and wife, Virginia, Liberal, John Gonzales, Wichita, Allen Romero, Melbourne, Fla., and Jerry Romero and wife, Lori, Collinsville, Ill.; two daughters, Beverly Romero, Pueblo, Colo., and Joyce Arredondo and husband, Javier, Liberal; 36 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, two daughters, two brothers and three grandchildren.
o Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. James P. Dieker presiding.
Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call until 5 p.m. today at Miller Mortuary.
