Patsy "Pat" J. Immell, 82, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
She was born June 25, 1934 to W.E. William Ellis and Mary Elizabeth (Cox) in Hooker, Oklahoma.
She married Everette E. "Bert" Immell Feb. 11, 1957 in Lovington, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1994.
The family eventually moved to Adams, Oklahoma, where she attended the First Baptist Church, and joined at the church age of 14. She started playing sports in seventh grade, and especially liked playing basketball.
She worked in retail most of her life.
Survivors include sons, "Bill" (William F.) and wife, Karen, Tulsa,Oklahoma, and "Bob" (Robert E.), Liberal; three brothers: Joe Brown and wife, Dorothy, Liberal, Charlie Brown, Wheeler, Texas, and Gene Brown Laverne, Oklahoma; sister, Libby Retzolff, Fairfield, California; and three granddaughters: Amy, Deborah and Anna, all of Tulsa Oklahoma.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; six brothers: Ruben, Ross, Bill, Walter, Robert, and Vernon "Speedy" Brown; and sisters, Lois Thurman, Bernidene Rich.
• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Rex Petty presiding.
Burial will take place at Liberal City Cemetery.
Friends may call from from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
