Liberal completed a sweep of the Garden City Buffaloes Tuesday with a 3-0 win on the road.

Liberal remained perfect in Western Athletic Conference place and maintained a lead over Dodge City in the standings.

The Buffaloes struggled to get a shot on goal, and the three attempts they did make were all defended by Frederick Gomez.

But the Redskins took 12 shots at the Garden City goal, and three of them reached the net.

Joe Peña started the scoring with an assist from Isai Gutierrez.

Jose Chavira added another goal after receiving a pass from Auden Portillo.

Gutierrez became the third Redskin to score off an assist from Jose Chavira.

No. 2 Liberal will look to remain keep their conference record perfect Thursday in a 1 p.m. contest at Hays.
