LILLIE M. SCHOFIELD
ULYSSES – Lillie M. Schofield, 76, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.
She was born Dec. 12, 1932, to Guy Andrew and Mary Hattie (Wolff) Hayzlett in Lakin.
She married Vernon H. Schofield Aug. 20, 1951 in Lakin. He survives.
She was a dietician at Western Prairie Care Home and Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital.
She enjoyed bowling, collecting dolls and loved pets.
Other survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Spencer, Ulysses, and Brenda Neilsonm, Wichita; one brother, George Hayzlett, Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Janet Marie Schofield, one brother, Julius Dean Hayzlett, and one grandson, Jerimy Shelton.
o Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses with the Rev. Bill Harrold presiding.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home.
