Obituary


HUGOTON – Kent Alan Tennis, 58, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton. 

He was born July 30, 1958 to Dean E. and Vivian (Billbe) Tennis in Satanta. 

He married Connie S. Moser Aug. 1, 1980 in Hugoton. She survives.

Survivors also include his parents; sons, Israel Tennis, Hugoton, and Tristan Tennis and wife, Jessica, Paxico; three brothers: Richard Smith, Independence, James Tennis, Rose Hill, and Brent Tennis and wife, Jinglas, Henderson, Texas; grandchildren, Chandler and Matthew Tennis; and many other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Smith; and sister, Kim Heinson. 

• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Hugoton with Pastor Richard Martin presiding.  

Burial will take place at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton. 

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton. 

Memorials have been established for Boy Scouts of America and Pheasant Heaven Charities. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
