Special to the Leader & Times

The Eisenhower Lady Warrior seventh grade volleyball team swept the competition in Ulysses Saturday to earn the tournament title.

The Lady Warriors earned the No. 1 seed out of their pool after defeating Hugoton, Guymon,  Ulysses and Colby.

The Lady Warriors faced Sacred Heart for the championship and won in two sets to defend their title at that tournament from last year.

The Lady Warriors improved their record to 13-0.

“All members contributed to the wins today with Alondra Garcia serving 11 in a row against Guymon and Ileyah Ross stepping up big in the middle position recording a few kills and a kill on game point against Sacred Heart,” Eisenhower coach Josi Malick said.

The Lady Warriors head to Dodge on Monday.
