Saturday was a successful day for the Eisenhower cross country teams.

All four teams took first place for the second time this season. 

“Our coaching staff is very proud of the student athletes performance but even more proud of their effort,” Eisenhower coach Brandi Fowler said.

Medalist for today’s meet were: Seventh grade girls Hallie West (fifth), Ava Maxwell (11th), and Ashlynd Winchell (15th); seventh grade boys Josiah Perez (sixth), Anthony Castijella (seventh), Gideon Wright (10th), and Elian Laguna’s first-ever medal (12th); the eighth grade girls won by just one point and had just one medalist, Helena Combs (third); eighth grade boys Iram Camacho (fourth), Coby Tran (12th), and Logan Miller (14th).

Eisenhower travels to Ulysses Tuesday.
