Obituary


Dr. Katherine Anne Phyfer, 71, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017 at her home in Marion. 

She was born July 30, 1946 to Paul and Jamie Daniel Phyfer in New Albany, Miss. 

She enjoyed helping others, which led her to becoming known for being an excellent physician. 

Survivors include brothers: David Phyfer, Geneva, Ill., Jay Phyfer, Bristol, Va., Jon Lindenberg, Duluth, Minn., James Lindenberg, New York City, and Ronal Lindenbertg, Chicago; sister-in-law, Andria Phyfer, Arizona; and friend, Tina McClellan, Hooker, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Dan. 

 Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.
