Obituary


MUSTANG, Okla.  – Susan Deanne Spencer, 61, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, in Oklahoma City after a long battle with health issues.

She was born March 20, 1956 to John Harrison Spencer and Clara Pauline (Chase) Spencer in Liberal. 

She grew up in Plains.  She lived in Pampa, Texas, Guymon, Okla., and Turpin, Okla. before moving to Mustang, Okla. in 2012. 

Survivors include brothers, David Spencer, Yukon, Okla., and Tom Spencer, Johnson; sister, Wilma D. Spence, Missoula, Mont.; many nieces and nephews: Jennifer Kincaid and son, Jacob, Mustang, Okla., Richard Spencer and son, Charles, and daughter, Josslin, Oklahoma City, Tyler Spencer and wife, Sherri, and their daughters, Laiken and Harper, Yukon, Okla., Cody Spencer and wife, Sadie, and their daughter Gracie, Burleson, Texas, Casey Holub and her children: Kadin Spencer, Tiana Blevins, and Addison Spencer, Salina, Aaron Spencer, Johnson; and close friends Larry McClure and wife, Melissa, Edmond, Okla., Bert McClure and wife, SueAnn, Indianapolis, Eyvonne and Joseph Knox, Newcastle, Okla., and Charmane and husband, James McDade, Newcastle, Okla. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Anna Marie Spencer; brothers Donny, Dick, and Jack Spencer; sister, Wanda Smith; nephew, David Erik Spencer; and close friends: LaDonna McClure and Bert McClure and Mark McClure.

 Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at The Vine Church, 231 N. Mustang Road, Mustang, Okla.  

Graveside memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at the Plains Cemetery in Plains.

Memorials can be made according to the donor’s wishes.
