ULYSSES – Ofelia Garza, 69, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was born Sept. 25, 1948 to Elesio and Paula (Lopez) Garza in Waco, Texas.

She was a homemaker.

She was known for being a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. 

Survivors include three sons: Robert Palomo and wife, Rene, Kansas City, Mo., Arturo Palomo, Kansas City, Mo., and Ramon Garza, Fort Worth, Texas; three daughters: Sylvia Lopez and husband, Omar, Haltom City, Texas, Rose Lopez and husband, Roberto, Denton, Texas, and Christina Parra, Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters: Antina Carabajal, Ulysses, Amelia Trevino, Ulysses, and Senayda Carabajal, Ulysses; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Berta Lopez.

 Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Ulysses with Pastor George Devora presiding.

Burial will take place at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
