Liberal’s freshmen dominated Great Bend Monday while the junior varsity suffered a 20-8 loss.

The freshmen scored on big runs by Jaylen Staten and Malcolm Wiltshire. The Redskins had a 50-0 halftime lead before a running clock was instituted in the second half and most of the starters were pulled.

The junior varsity allowed to first half touchdowns while having strives stall, and despite a 72-yard touchdown run by Elijah McCarter in the second half, the Redskin junior varsity fell 20-8.
