There will be several bids and parts of projects up for discussion for the USD 480 school board during its next meeting Monday evening. 

After being asked to approve the renewal of JCI planned service agreement (which includes work with the HVAC systems and the Access Control and First Call support), the board will also be discussing technology including testing Chromebooks, Desktops for Camera System, LED Monitors, Chromebooks, and 45-watt power adapters for the Chromebooks. 

The board will also be discussing the potential approval of Discovery Education for the elementary and middle schools as well as the purchase of the Mimio Teach Bar for Cottonwood Elementary School, Sunflower Elementary School and Bright Start Early Learning Center. 

Also up for discussion will be Accepting a Bid for Soffit replacement for right Bright Start Early Learning Center from Abbott Construction and repairs to the gym floor at the former South Middle School building. 

To conclude the new business of the meeting, the board will also be asked to approve planning days for the Kansas CAN redesign project that will be going throughout the USD 480 schools.
