Ivan Lee Potts, 93, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

He was born Aug. 11, 1924 to Rex Alvin Potts and Pansey Edith Kirkpatrick Potts in Clay County, Ill.

He married Martha Lee Pursell Potts May 23, 1943. She survives. 

He retired from Weatherford Oil Service as a Service Engineer in 1986.  

He was a deacon and active member of First southern Baptist Church for many years. 

Survivors include son, Jerry (Sharon), Woodward, Okla.; daughter, Linda Potts, Liberal; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Rex Otto Potts; brother, Dean Potts; and sister, Helen Kautz.

 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal with Pastor Jack Jacob presiding.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Bill Kohen Mission Offering in care of the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd St. Liberal, KS 67901
