MOSCOW – Ignacio Santillan, 70, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton. 

He was born July 31, 1947 to Jesus and Maria (Valles) De Luz, in Rancho Nuevo Chihuahua, Mexico. 

He married Cruz Montoya Aug. 20, 1967 in Mexico. She survives. 

Survivors also include son, Raul Santillan and wife, Holly, Denver City, Texas; daughters, Lucila Santillan and husband, Esteban Garcia, Moscow, and Rosa Santillan-Vasquez and husband, Valentin, Harlingen, Texas; sister, Rafaela Jimenez, Mexico; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Maria Elena; three brothers; and nine sisters.

 Mass Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4. 2017 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton. 

Burial will follow at the Moscow Cemetery in Moscow. 

A memorial has been established for Ignacio Santillan. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS. 67951.
