Mona (Moni) Richerson, 94, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at the Skilled Unit of Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

She was born March 6, 1923 to Oscer Brown and Hazel Richards in Hardesty, Okla. 

She married Clifton Willard Richerson Dec. 26, 1945 in Clayton, N.M. He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 1984. 

She married Charles Morris Jenkins Jr. in 1989 in California. He preceded her in death Jan. 16, 1997.

She graduated from Hardesty High School in 1943.

She was an area Superviser for P.E.P.L.CO. Gas Co. 

She was a member of the Elks Lodge. 

Survivors include son, Michael Richerson, Liberal; sisters, Donnie Teaque, Fort Worth, Texas, and Jeanie Baure, Hemet, Calif.; four grandchildren: Arika Jackson, Neil Richerson, Jason Taylor and Stephanie Taylor; eight great-grandchildren: Skyla Richerson, Trent Richerson, Ashton Richerson, Adam Richerson, Devan Gibbens, Andrea Ferguson, and Andrew and Kailey Taylor; and great-great-grandchildren, Charliegh and Tristan Ferguson.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nancy Lee Ellis; and brother, Billy Brown.

 Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Okla.
