Juan Jonathan “Johnny” Espino, 22, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 in a motor vehicle accident near Chickasha, Okla.

He was born Jan. 26, 1995 to Mirna Gonzales and Francisco Faz Ovalle in Winfield.

He was a 2013 graduate from Turpin High School in Turpin, Okla.

He was serving in the U.S. Army as a PFC in Bravo Battery 2nd Battalion, 18th Field Artillery in Ft. Sill, Okla.  

Survivors include brothers: Isaac Gonzales, Amos Gonzales, Joshua Gonzales, Jason Gonzales; and sisters: Ashley Gonzales, Pamela Faz, Paola Faz.

• Vigil services will be from 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2018  to 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at the Brenneman Family Chapel at 1212 W. 2nd in Liberal.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church at 621 N. Western Ave. in Liberal, with Pastor Oscar Guzman presiding.  

Memorials are suggested to the SCCC/ATS Development Foundation in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
