The State of Kansas has a new governor, schools are asking for increased funding, and highways have had their money taken to fund classrooms.

All of these challenges and more face the Kansas Legislature currently in session, and Senator Bud Estes and Representative Shannon Francis will be in Liberal Saturday at provide an update on what is happening in the statehouse as well as get input form local constituents.

The Legislative Forum will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday morning at the Rock Island Depot.

The event is sponsored by AT&T and hosted by the Liberal Chamber of Commerce. 

Donuts and coffee will be provided.
