Reola Fisher, 85, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal. 

She was born July 2, 1932 to Leonard and Myrtle (Crone) Martin at McAlester, Okla.

She married David James Fisher March 21, 1953 in Ft. Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death Jan. 27, 1998.

She was a graduate of Indinaola High School in Indinaola, Okla. with the Class of 1951. 

She went to work for Beech Aircraft in 1974 and worked in the avionics department until 1983. 

After leaving Beech, she graduated from the auto parts management program from the Liberal Area Vo-Tech. 

In 1985, she went to work as a teacher's aide with USD 480 in Liberal from which she retired from in 1999. 

She was an avid reader and sports fan who enjoyed playing basketball and softball in her younger years. 

She was also softball coach and Boy Scout Leader for Pack 73 Den 3. 

She also enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time with her family. 

She was a member of the Grace Baptist Temple where she served as treasurer and youth leader.

Survivors include three sons: George Fisher and wife, Jacki, Blanchard, Okla., Jim Fisher and wife, Lori, Wichita, and David Fisher and wife, Donna, Liberal; daughter, Donna Moody and husband, Jeff, Turpin, Okla.; sisters, Lillian Johnson, McAlester, Okla., and Reta Cannon and husband David, Canadian, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.

 Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal.

There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.

Memorials are suggested to Kids Inc or Liberal Good Samaritan Center in care of Miller Mortuary.
